About this beach club
Areia sits on Kathisma, the long white sand and pebble beach below Agios Nikitas on Lefkada's west coast. Most of the services on Kathisma are run by a small number of bar restaurants, of which Areia is one, alongside Copla, Libre and others. The venue combines sunbed hire with a restaurant and cocktail bar. Kathisma faces west and the sunsets are the main evening draw, with music sets from several of the bars along the sand. The beach shelves quickly into deep water and can pick up swell from the open Ionian.
