About this beach club

Tayo sits on Halikounas beach, an unusually undeveloped stretch of sand that separates the Ionian Sea from the Korission lagoon, a protected wetland in the southwest of Corfu. Because of the protected status the beach has very little building on it, and the bar is one of only a handful of structures along the strip. Loungers and shaded spaces are available, and the drinks list runs to coffee, juices, smoothies, light snacks and cocktails. The venue is open from 10am until late and hosts weekend parties in high season. Access is by a rough road across the spit and the beach is exposed to wind, which makes it popular with kitesurfers. There are no large hotels or resorts on this beach.
