Lido Fontane Bianche

Fontane Bianche is a natural gulf on the coast between Siracusa and Avola, and the lido sits at Via Mazzaro 1, right on it. The bay is genuinely white-sanded and the water is pale and shallow a long way out, which is why families with small children keep coming back. The name refers to freshwater springs at the limestone promontory to the north of the beach. The lido runs umbrellas with loungers, private cabins and reserved terrace areas, with the front row priced higher than everything behind it. The bar handles breakfast, granita and artisanal gelato through the day and stays open into the evening; the restaurant serves lunch only, 12:30 to 15:30, with a mix of hot and cold dishes built on local produce and fish. Staff run games and activities for children and organised water sports through the day, so it is an active beach rather than a silent one. There is free wifi across the site and a private guarded car park on Via Taormina, a couple of minutes from the entrance. The 2026 rates start at 20 euro for an umbrella and two loungers in the back rows in May and October.
