Long Beach Cannes

Long Beach has been operating on the Croisette for over thirty years, on the sand opposite the Carlton and the JW Marriott, which puts it in the middle of the most sought-after stretch of beach in Cannes. The sand is imported and groomed flat, the water calm and shallow, and the club's setup is more thorough than most of its neighbours: proper changing cabins and showers as well as loungers and designer parasols, with lifeguard cover through the day. Service starts at breakfast and carries through to dinner, so it functions as a beach club and a seafront restaurant in equal measure. The kitchen is modern Mediterranean and built around light lunch food that suits a day on the sand, poke bowls, ceviche, whole grilled fish, large salads and house cocktails, rather than the heavier hotel-beach template. In summer the evenings shift: live bands play to the lounge bar, DJ sets run through weekend afternoons, and music brunches fill the middle of the day. Given the position, booking is essential in season and during festival weeks, when much of the Croisette beachfront is given over to private events.
